Louver Mounting Hardware

Anyone know where i can pick this up, can it be bought from the dealer or is there a website that sells it?

I have the louvers themselves but no mounting hardware

Your probably going to have to make those or source a FB that has one on there now and take them off.

You can always put up a want to buy add in to for sale section. I like the look of the louvers, we had them on the 7 until my dad almost cut his finger off on them lol That was the end of that

What do you mean by mounting hardware? Like rivets?

Or do you mean the actual device that cuts and presses them into the hood?

i think the op is talkin about the mounts that attach the louver to the hatch

e.g.

and to make your own i think you would need to cut some sheet metal and use a die to thread it. plus the same for the hinges. i think that will be more work than finding an already louvered rx7 and getting parts from that. have fun!

Well ive found the top mounting hinges but i got nothign for the bottom, also i need the hardware that goes the length of the louvers that rests against the window.

Ive been looking for parts cars, but where im from its hard to find any FB RX7's let alone louvered ones

High quality Velcro or Dual Lock works just fine and doesn't need any special tooling. Mine has custom done hinges at the top and then the bottom is Velcroed onto the glass. I don't mind the look, but I do wish the guy who did it had painted the steel before he installed the hinges.

perhaps when you find a louvered rx7 from the dealer, take the whole hatch glass since it has all the components installed already.

i thought black dragon sells a kit. maybe that includes hardware also
