Lots of Smoke

Hey, i just bought an 85 GSL and am a newb with rotary's. When i started it up this morning it smoked alot it was blue but it smelled like gas. It continued to smoke until i started driving it and warmed it up. When it was warm it no longer smoked. Is this something to worry about???

Thanks

Black smoke = fuel burning
white smoke = coolant burning
blue smoke = oil burning

Hope this helps you out.
