Beautiful looking FB. I love me a white FB. Took me some getting used to, but now I love them. I originally planned on painting my white one black or something, but after driving it for nearly eight months the white has grown on me a lot, and seeing white FB's in as good of shape as yours makes me want to keep it white that much more.

What is with the guard thing at the bottom of the doors that run all the way along the bottom of the car though?

As someone mentioned before, do you have any info on the protector/ trim strip thats on the side of your car?

My friend has the same thing but the PO attached it to the rockers rather than higher up where your is. I always thought it looked out of place and was a custom job, but yours doesnt look too bad!
Any idea who made them or where it came from??....Just curious.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the kind words about my car. I love her! She still needs some TLC, but she's coming right along. I appreciate the feedback and wanted to share the pics with you guys because I know you can appreciate the beauty of the 7!

A few of you asked about the silver "guard" plates on the bottom of the car. They're stock, engraved with "GS," and I've seen a few other 7's with them, but not a whole lot. I don't have anymore info on them though, but I know someone out there knows more! I remember someone mentioning something about them in one of my previous picture posts. Sorry I can't be more informative!

I try my best to keep her up and, yes, I am quite obsessed with the clean door jams. Hehe! I remember spending an entire day just working on them and now it's all just a matter of upkeep. I don't drive her daily anymore. I picked up a 97' Toyota Celica...nice car, but I can't seem to get used to an automatic. I just thought it was time to baby the 7 more, keep her clean, take her out on weekends and such. It's working well so far! She has 132k on her, but she's on her second engine. Put a new 12a in after the first one went out at 101k. I think if I keep taking care of her the way that I do, she'll be a great car for a long time. One day I'd like to have her detailed really good and eventually, have her repainted (stock color).

Well, thanks again for the comments! You guys are great! If I didn't answer a question or something, let me know and I'll do my best to answer.

Tammie

PS

Alex, I am loving the sunroof! Thanks! I haven't taken it off since I got it!
