Thumbs down loseing power/boggs for sec.

81 gs boggs for a few seconds between 35 and 4500 rpm's then picks back up any idea'z

thats about where your secondaries should be kicking in, might check if anything is binding the shaft from opening up faster, like the bundle of wires in front of the carb, the air filter housing may be pushing down on them...happened to me.....good luck,,, also might check the valve that controls the secondaries, could be bad, mine was also........

Go to the 1st gen archives and read sterling's carb entry. Your AP is either shot or needs his mods...

Check the accelerator pump adjustment too. It could be that it is giving the carb too much of a shot of gas, as it is only supposed to provide just enough to make the transition.
