looking for weather strip

hi there was wondering if anyone knows where i can buy some new weather strips that go around the tail lights for my 85 gsl-se.... thanks

yeah the online catalog sucks to navigate but i believe if you order the paper catolog you can just order the weather strip. if i recall correctly

Nope no luck with BD just called them, they dont just sell the weather strip

Damn just called my local dealer no longer available.. anyone got any ideas ??? my car is getting painted as we speak wanted to get strip for the tail lights

its rare that mazda sells anything in a quantity of more than one. that part number is for 1, it takes 2 to do both lights

I'd go down to a wreckers, find some old ones of another car, soak them in transmission stop leak fluid for a day or two (to soften them up) and use those. That's what I did.

Door weatherstrip from FCs is what I use in my RX-3s and FBs. FC doors are larger so it will require minor trimming. Be sure to bring a popper (harbor freight or autozone) so you can get the plastic T's also.

it may be possible to make your own, you gotta have ingenuity to have an fb or older rotary when parts are no longer available.lol
