Looking for this front lip for my FB

Hello I was wondering if anyone knew if I could find this front lip in the US? I know there is a guy who makes and sells them in Australia but shipping cost is crazy. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Welcome to the board.

I have no idea what you're talking about, so I can't help other than to say: a detailed description would be better to help someone else help you. A photo would be even better.

No worries.

That looks like the old SA air dams. I'm not necessarily the best with this stuff, but check THIS out. See if it's what you're looking for.

If you are good with making fiberglass molds, I have a xenon front air dam that is brand new (with some gelcoat damage, minimal edge damage). It's an sa dam but could be modified to fit on an fb.

I have this mold that was made from the front air dam on my 1979. The original owner of my 1979 bought the air dam and made a mold before putting it on the car. When I purchase the car a couple of years ago he gave me the mold.

I have not but plan on having a fiberglass person make a couple. The one currently on the car, original, has seen better days.

Thanks for the link, Carl - always good to know someone is keeping up with demand on air dams for our cars. I ran 2 of these over the years, but the original Kamei FRP product, not these gel-coated fiberglass versions, which should be much better quality. The 1st Kamei I bought was ordered through an import speed shop back in the 80's and it lasted on my 80LS for many years, helping to kill lift on the front end at high speed, the effect was instantly noticeable, as the SAs have quite a bit of lift above about 80-90mph, getting a lot worse the faster you go. That Kamei was destroyed going through a parking lot at sunset when I missed seeing one of those concrete protrusions, and it shattered the middle section. The replacement Kamei went onto my 84SE for many years until it eventually weakened in the middle section - being plastic - as the airflow over it tended to cause flex vibration at speed, eventually cracking through both sides. The fiberglass parts should be much stiffer, but anyone buying one may want to consider adding some kind of center support to the lower valance to prevent that flex. Regardless, that design is smooth in the air and works as designed.

Here's a picture of the first one on my 80LS circa 1986;
