Beautiful 'turd' brown SE. I have a GSL I have been sitting on for 3 years that will be repainted in the stock color. While brown cars are odd, I actually like it on the 7. Post some pics of the interior.

If the interior is in as fine of condition as the exterior, you may wish to consider keeping the car bone stock for higher value later on. The SAs, LEs, and SEs, over time, will bring the best resale prices/value when kept oem. If you do choose to mod it, keep all of the take off parts so it can be returned to oem condition if needed.

Regarding the air pump removal, if you do, you will need to remove the cat as it will not last long without the fresh air the pump supplies to it. There is very little hp gain in removing it. i.e., less than 5 hp. To get any kind of hp gain, you will need to install a new header and full exhaust system.

In my sig line is a link to the online FSMs and other rotary related reading material. Welcome to the forum and the Darkside.

Like trochoid stated, it will increase in value if you just keep her stock. There aren't a lot of the SE in stock condition it seems like. Your SE sure is nice and I would like some interior shots too. And before any messing around in the engine bay, sit down and read about the rotary, learn about it as much as you can. You will start to love it. If you haven't already, check out the faq page at the top and the archives also, plus get used to the search button for a lot of your ?s you might have. God bless.
