it should be plug-and-play, bolting the logicom into place of the slide control unit.
Manufacturers often have one master wiring harness and allow plugs on it for options the car may or may not have. Check the wiring of GSL types (including SEs) and ensure yours has similar connections in the dash.

The part that I don't understand is how the once mechanically operated vent controls become electrically operated by the push of a button. Maybe this is built into the logicon?

you need the motors and stuff too. i think the electrical stuff is there but you may need to use the gsl heater boxes
