A little Rx treasure.

Not too long ago I was in Japan center in San Fran and stopped by one of the book stores to see what they had. So I started out in the car section of course, they had Hyper Rev books and Option magazines, then I saw this one hiding on a shelf.

And then once opening and looking around I knew I had to have it, even if I don't speek or read any Japanese. Their are lots of awesome photos and visuals, especially about the 1st gen. Lots of racing photos, and then some cool diagrams like this one.

I'm pretty sure it shows how the weight is distributed though out the car and where the center of gravity is. If you guys are interested I'll scan some more of the pages, but I just wanted to share.

Alright, here some more are. The only pictures I left out are the 6-7 pages of differences between models, showing different steering wheels and such. And also the pags for FC's and FD's.

I want these seats so bad.

The Trust Rx-7? Awesome.

For all of you who like rally 1st gens.

They had several copies.

Find some one in the far east section and bribe them with sweet USDM parts, lol.

Yep those are the seats, I'd trade both my red and brown leather ones for a pair of those. Drift, I can make a pdf if you supply me with your scanned files. And thanks for the pictures, I'm starting to understand Japanese better.

The top diagram is air flow, not weight. I have one of the FC and the 1st gen looks like it has better aero.

There is the airflow/pressure diagram on top of the car, but the one under it I'm convinced it weight, look at all the weight where the engine is, and where the rear axle is. And also if you look at where the driver would be you can see a line that cuts through the large hump. That I assume is the difference between a empty and a car with driver. There is also the little BMW looking thing by the bottom of the door that looks like it would indicate the center of gravity.

The stoor is in the big, main mall they have in Japan center, the sticker on the book says, "Kinokuniya Bookstores" So I hope that helps.
