A Little Interior Work

hey everyone here is a little info on my interior work....
Most of my interior is stripped except for the dash and console. So i figured i had better make what's left look good. My center surround was trashed, cig burns, paint faded, cracked and broken. So i took it and reinforced the cracks glued the parts back together and then bondoed and painted the surround GUNMETAL. I am in the process of making a plate for a couple gaudges and fuel cut-off switch, as well as other controls. what do you think. I am painting the car the same color as the surround. I bought the silver faced S/R motorsports guadges and an aftermarket steering wheel. I'll take some pics inside the car this weekend.....Oh yeah the plate is jsut a template, the "real" one will be aluminum or fiberglass...

Looks good! I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I was considering doing mine in Black, to match the shift boot, center console, dash, etc.
