little help please...lighting question

My friend has an 84 GSL SE. His bright lights wont work when he switches them on, only if he holds them back like hes flashing them. Is there any quick or easy fix to this? thanks---Nick

It's he's... not hes.

As for the lights, I'd say the problem lies in the switch itself. Maybe a dirty contact. Just pull the steering- column shroud and the combination switch and have a poke around.

Its in the column switch. You can disassemble the unit and clean it. Don't lose any of the check springs or small parts! You will hate yourself if you do. And don't bang the steering wheel on or off unless you want to buy a new steering gear shaft!

Boosted, it's cool. I was just waiting for you to slip up so that I could get you back. I was actually hoping for a spelling mistake but I don't think that's going to happen.
