Lights and Fuel pump

Has anyone ever had a problem where they have wired in a cut out switch for the fuel pump and some how when ever a certain amount of draw was introduced into the system the motor would stall because the fuel pump lost power? This is the single biggest issue with my car right now

You need to run your switch through a relay so all the current isnt going through the switch itself.
