Manntis,

After being out for a couple of days, I see everone has already posted how I feel as well. I am glad you're fine.

With the details of your post, it seems it was fate that Pam was going down that day, one way or another. At least God let her take the hits and protect you.

Good Luck with the car shopping.
Deloreans look like novelty cars, with age.
FB's have ageless classic lines.
Buy Pam back from the insurance company, get a decent SE, and swap whatever you need to from Pam to her new sister.

I do see that the dark-side (boost) will be reaching you though, as even a Mildly boosted FB is wayyyy to much fun, and much faster than all the other bolt-ons combined. Technically you don't need an SE for this, as you could always swap your SE suspension on any FB, and use the TII engine. And If you go blow through turbo, you could probably finish it in a week.

Just a little something to linger on in your head...

Take care.

WOW! Manntis, seriously, that was a very moving, very well written piece. What a story! - I am so glad your PAM looked after you and I too believe that cars really do possess a certain "something" for their owners. I have had a few moments in my time, and I am sure my car "helped". I am not only a new RX7 owner, but also a newbie to this site and your comments on flamers is really encouraging! I have joined many many many forums during my 8 years on the internet and have NEVER come across a nicer, more fun, easy going bunch as I have found in THIS forum. I too have asked some really dumb questions in my time and have left those forums never to return again, due to SOME people's lack of patients etc. It is so true that some people see questions heaps, especially if you have 2000 odd posts next to your name, but, it is also true that one day us new guys will also have 1000's of posts and will learn the ropes. We all have to start somewhere. I am really glad to see that this site is very cool, great pics, great stories and RX7s are very easy to love. I have only ONE regret - I wish I had bought one years ago!
PS _ Manntis - did you manage to get any pics of your wrecked baby? (Pam) We see alot of nice 7's here - be interesting to see the broken one!
