So I just got back from the garage and I noticed a large stain under the rear passenger wheel. It looks like I am leaking a lot of brake fluid from the rear drum/s. (Fluid under left wheel as well just not as much)--- Now the car is in storage in the corner of the garage and would be a pain to get out to locate the problem and fix.

Now my question is: will I damage the brake system if I have very little fluid in it over the course of the winter? Or do I need to drag the car out and get it fixed?

You will need to top off the fluid in the master cylinder to prevent moisture from getting into the lines. If the fluid continues to drip out, clamp the hose close to the wheel to stop the drip. Then you can deal with it in the spring. Plan on replacing the clamped hose too.

 

i see no reason to have damage but i would fix it before u drive it no breaks is no fun.....
