Lazer cut Center console plate interests??
im in if u can make one for an 81 let me kno im me wnysorvr@aim.com
SA plate is in our to-do list since 84-85 are done and akira is almost done with the rear plate. The SA mock-up was done months ago, at the same time with the 84-85, but it needs a few adjustments.

Will there be any way for the AC markings to light up? I'd think it would be possible if the panel was, say, two layers, the front one opaque, and the rearmost one translucent... Engrave throught the opaque layer, then stick a bit of elecro-luminescent panel behind the engraved bit.
Just a though.

Many years ago, Rotary Engineering & Racing used to sell a replacement plate for SA wherein you have to use the orig climate control panel which is held by 2 screws. The SA mock-up doesnt have that provision; therefore, its not lighted. But Im sure that that it can be done and it will require less work for Akira.

Hey I have an idea Akira.
On the S1 and S2 dashboard there are two horizontal vents. I have all of my vents blocked off, and a lot of others do, simply due to the removal of AC and heating components.
Now, could you make something to fit those two holes (especially if the center divider was just cut by the buyer with a ultillity knife) for gauges or just something cool?

ahhh... shoot wait... I was talking about the 84-85. I need wacky to confirm if the SA panels that I cut for him will actually work... if not then I will have to think of another way to maybe just replace a part of the panel like the S3 panels I made.
