Kyosho R/C 1/24 First Gen (pic)

My new toy. They don't make first gens, so I made my own. Racing these things is so much fun. They haul ***. I'll take pictures of next sunday's race. I plan on smoking the 2nd and 3rd gens plus some nxs's, skylines and supras. By then my car should be blue with carbon fibre hood.

its difficult to see without paint, but you get the idea

its going to a Tamiya TA03RS chassis which is in the throws of being converted to carbon fibre chassis, she'll not see a race track though as its too good to crash

Wanna sell one, or two? Post back here, I'm serious. I've been looking for 1/10th scale polycarbonate bodies of 1st Gen's for my custom electric racecar for YEARS!

What you have in hand looks great - did you do the vacuum forming yourself??

At first glance in this picture I thought you were trying to pass off a 240SX body as an FB, but I looked again and realized it was an SA with differnt tail lights. I dunno, maybe its just me, but at first glance, the tail light lines looked like a 240SX.

PS - I wanted an FB body for my RS4

luiml73, I hate you.

j/k

I actually have those as models, maybe I should make them into R/C cars. What are you using for the first gen?

It's a 1/24 MONOGRAM plastic body. My frien bought them on ebay. They also make the widebody version, but he wont sell it to me. To make it fit to the Kyosho Min i Z, I just took the plastic brackets out of the mini Z body's and glued them to the first gen
