Koyorad Radiator Fitment???

Has anyone else had issues with the Koyorad Radiator in an FB?
I bought my GSL-SE in June and am slowly working on the "low hanging fruit" items. The car came with a shiny silver Koyorad radiator but the lower hose fitting hits the 13B engine mount. Is this the wrong radiator? Also the "Low Coolant" sensor doesn't fit and the copper coolant temperature sensor is not the greatest fit either. Is this radiator for an FC?

I'm not sure this post is in the right section.

Based on their website, it looks like you have the radiator that should work with 12a and 13b FBs. When I installed the Koyo radiator in my FD I had to fabricate new mounts and move several components around to get everything to fit. It was a pain. It looks like you're running into the same issue – it doesn't just drop in without some work

Thanks derSchwamm. I'm never sure where I'm supposed to put the threads I want to post. Which would've been the right post for this one? Performance was my second choice.

Darn. I think the easiest option at the moment might be to trim the length of the lower hose fitting. It will be very tight but I have no idea how else to do it.

Thanks for the feedback. Greatly appreciated.

There is was some fitment issues with the first run if I remember correctly. I had no issues with fitment. I’m wondering if this is one of my the earlier ones. Is there a production date?

Hi Richard,
Thanks for helping me out with this. Here's the pictures of the fitment issue and the only sticker on the radiator. What do you think?

The angle is more obtuse angle than what I have.

Looks like having a welder fix it or returning the product. Hopefully this picture helps

I moved this to the main/tech section.

As said above, the first run of these radiators (several years ago at this point) had numerous fitment issues which have since been fixed. The one I got about 2 years ago fit with no issues with the lower hose working. I should mention that I don't bother with the low coolant sensor, so can't comment on whether this fits correctly or not!
