Question Koni shocks and Spring questions

Hello all,

I'm just starting the process of up grading my stock suspension on my 80. I purchased a pair of Koni front strut inserts for a steal and was thinking of pairing them with Tokico Blues.

What setting should i set the Koni's at to match the Tokico's in the rear?????

I was also thinking of getting a set of springs, however im not too keen on having the car sitting on the 'deck' nor do I want to induce back problems from a stiff ride.

Is it practical to stiffen up the front spring rates (ie RB springs) and leave the rears stock?? Or should i just save the money and leave all stock springs in??

I will be useing the car mostly as a daily driver and participating in some auto-x's and maybe a track day or two.

Regards, ajazeller

I am surprised no one has said it yet, but do a search and you will find the answers to all of your questions above.

adjusting the Koni's

Ok, i found the answer to my spring question. I think i will just stick with the stock springs.

However, I still cant find the answer to the adjustment problem. I understand they are adjustable on rebound only. so what would a good setting be relative to the Tokico blues. Would KYB's be a better match. (i cant afford Tokico adjustables)

Thanks for the help.
