1980, 5spd, 12A, 86k. Once I get it started and the choke kicks down and it's idling nice...there's sort of a knocking sound coming from in the engine (not detonation). You really have to listen to notice it. Knocking may not be the best description. Maybe the sound of something wobbling.

 

Might be a pulley that is bent maybe throwing some stuff off balance and causing some sort of "clothes washer" effect.... Throwing stuff out there I guess. Its too early (late for me) to think very good. Could be something like pulley, etc is just loose and hasnt come off and broken more expensive things yet also.
