my parking brake light got stuck on....this happened awhile ago adn i ignored it untill one day i drove off and it was on so..****.. that sucked but then it went off after school one day doin a burnout contest..i thought it fixed but now its stuck on again and has been like that for about 3 months any ideas on how to fix it??its driven me crazy when im drivin

 

There's a floater in the brake fluid. When it goes too low, it triggers the light indicating you have low brake fluid.

Check it and check the float...

When you drive around, the level can move up and down.

 

check the master cyclinder?? does that go for the parking brake i thought it ran off cable not hydrolic???

 

take out the light

 

Either the parking brake switch, or the MC float will put the "brake" idiot light on. The float can get stuck as can the PB switch.

 

YEP! Happened to me.. Simple to check.. OH man if I can do it, so can you! Good luck!

 

back the key out a little it should fix it.
