kia sportage gears?

who can tell me a litttle something about swapping gears from a kia sportage to a rx7 i read this the other day and afriend of mine and i are curious on the install. also who makes our rear ends??? is it mazda or did mazda by it from a company like dodge and dana.

There the exact same thing as mazda gears!!!! but they only work on gsl-se rear ends..up to 85...you can go as far as 4.88's with them

I would assume you could use them with any 84-85 rear end as the beefed up axles were changed across the board.

thats what i understood as well i have an 84 gs to gsl rear end with se chunk and was interested in some looooooow gears since all i do is around town driving mainly. wanted some extra low end torque. carl i looked around that site and didnt find anything descriptive. anything else

Dude, theres a 3 or 4 page thread only on those gears. I have a 4:88 in the IT car and it pulls HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
