K & D filter

Hey whats all the yee-haa about the k & d filter (I think that's what its called). It's $$$, but what if anything can I expect in performance improvements if I install one? Everyone on here seems to have one, and everything you guys have suggested to me has worked, so, guess I need to get one, huh?

K&N's do flow more air than your typical filter. And more air is a good thing! Can you feel a difference? Yes, you'll feel good that you have one installed.

K&N

I run a K&N and love it. The car breaths better and runs quicker. For the best prices check out trailblazer.com.

i fear that turbozetusa is a robot... he's here to assimilate us all... wait, OH NO!!!

turbo zet, performance mod of the deacade... buy it and people will like you... you will succeed in life....

No must resist....

ok, I'm fine.

From what I have heard K&N filters are good, and the plus side (which has already been mentioned) is that they ARE reusable and can be cleaned... Yay. 50$ for an air filter that you will never have to replace (for 1,000,000 miles atleast)

cheers'

The only Differences i noticed on my -se were that the revs moved quicker, and i had that intake sucking sound which is pretty cool...

It "gets up and goes" (i.e. accelerates) a bit more quickly, and at 4k, you hear the air going into the carb better than with a stock replacement.

for a test to see what a K&N would be like, Take the air filter out and rev the engine a few times, don;t go driving down any dusty dirt roads or anything, just on your drive way or up and down your street, that is what a K&N will do.
