oh im sorry man i have the same problem it is getting presser at the carb but it will only run on the gas that i manually put in the carb

hay man try taking the plugs out to see if thare wet if they are tern it over with them out. then if it wont start after that see if your carb is stuck if not poor a little gas in it

If the pump isnt running at all because theres no power, check the fuse. Then theres also a plug under the passenger storage bin where the wires run through the floor, check that to make sure its not corroded, mine was at one point. Thats about all I have as far as that.

The plastic thing is either your fuel filter (which could be highly clogged causing the gas to not get to the carb), or the roll over valve which shuts ful off in case of a roll over type accident.

For the other guy that wont run unless you dump gas in, check the inlet screen(s) on the carb. They could be clogged causing gas to not get in, the floats could also be stuck causing the bowls to not fill also, among other things. Just thought Id toss you a few ideas also

There is a fuel pump cut relay under the dash, right of the steering column.
You can unplug it, and put in a jumper wire, not sure which connection to jump though. May or may not be the problem.
Mine has been this way for a year, I have a junkyard relay, but haven't installed it yet.
Busy/lazy.
