If you need help, definitely look in the Archives first... Chances are, whatever you need help with, you can find there.

Sweet FB, take good care of her.

Never heard of a TWR Rx-7 either you have an extremely rare car, like a company called TWR modified it. Or the lady who gave it to you got BS'd by someone. I like it, it has a very tough look to it.

A 1980 I assume?

the TWR version stands for Tommy Wilkinsure Racing. this is the company that produced the rx-7 racing cars. to celebrate their success they produced 200 versions for a road car.

Man that is bad *** that you got that car. You should fully restore it. Completely stock and original. Nice find though.

from what i can gather the alloys, blue decals are one of the things that come from the TWR version, also the engine has been tweeked to produce higher torque and bhp, but some more research and ill ley you all know the figures

also thanks all for the great comments, i can see this website being good help.

It looks like it had the air pump removed, and it has a nice header. What kind of carb does it have? I am assuming maybe a modified Nikki? I think you should try to find documentation on this bad boy. We at the 7club are always interested in all the different kinds of 7's out there.
