I just recieved my DIY -RE 13B Video set Today, Just got it from the wifey for my Birthday,. Never expected it,
I wish I could give you my thoughts on it but unfortunetly they sent me a PAL format set and My sony those not want to play it. So I wrote them asking what I should do and they E-mailed me back write away and apologized for the error and now are gonna send me another set in NATC format (once I send theres back) they are throwing in 2 shirts one for me and my wife, and are gonna send me an extra set of wall prints, as well as send the Items Fed-EX. which means alot considering they are in australia..
So , so far they have been very curteous and proffesional

hey, I have that DIY-RE 13B set also, it seems to be a pretty well put together set. Although there is a few things that seem sort of weird (when they are building the engine, then get to the front rotor, drop a apex (I believe) into a coolant passage, so they tear down the whole engine to get it.... Why not use a magnet???) But overall I learned some new things from it. I lent it to a local guy building a engine and he said that it was OK, but he already knew almost everything the video said...

Overall I say its deffinately worth watching, and I can't wait for the porting video and the DIY-26B (thats just crazy!!!). I think ill get that one just for interest sake!!!

I got mine a couple of months ago. Overall I thought it was quite good. I also have the RotaryAviation video and the DIY-RE had a few tidbits that I didn't learn from the RotaryAviation video. But overall I think the RotaryAviation version is more complete and thorough. I'm not trying to persuade anyone to not buy the DIY-RE...I think it's well worth having. And make sure you check out the bonus material. ;-)

I have the Atkins DVD, which seems pretty good (OK, music choice leaves, ah, something to be desired... ) - would be curious how much better/worse the kiwi vid is. You'd think with 4 DVDS, there is more info in the kiwi set? Guess there is only one way to find out...
