Just picked up my new car
Hi guys and gal.
Yesterday I picked up my new RX-7. ("New" is a debatable term, because it looks like it's been through a wheat thresher, but it was cheap).
I'm now too poor for normal camera film, let alone a digital camera, but it's a dark grey Series 1 with gold mags (and like all New Zealand RX-7s, it's right-hand drive and has a back seat).
When I'm inside the house I've been getting thoughts along the lines of "Oh my God! I've just spent all my money on a car! What was I thinking?" Then I go to the window and look out at it, and get a big goofy grin on my face.
I just wanted to say thanks for the great info in all your posts that I've been reading for the last six months. Hopefully I can now put a lot of it into practice.
Thanks,
ScruffyChimp

Welcome to the Cult!
Atta-boy, Kiwi...
What I've discovered shiftin' gears down the trail of life, is that it doesn't seem to matter how much money I make....I always seem to find ways to spend it. I remember when my lovely wife wanted to go back to College and get a second degree....Shoot, we had three kids, house, all that bull....But we found a way for her to do it.
You'll come to see the wisdom of your ways. Have fun with your life....Otherwise you might end up like the bored old Cowboy who jumped naked into a patch of cactus...Asked why, he said "It seemed to be a good idea at the time..."
A tip of the Stetson,
Denny, from the 'ol corncrib....
