Talking Just picked up another 7--- '85 GS! 113K!! Pics

Hey everyone just thought Id show you guys my new toy. A 1985 GS, 113K on the clock, heres the eBay auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2442452814

I emailed him and told him I was interested, so I took my wagon down to look at it, (170mi drive) and i couldnt pass it up, its been garaged most of its life, kept very clean and original. Unfortuantly theres a small dent in the rear, but notihng too bad. I already had some coil packs sitting around so Ill drop those in tomarrow and see what I got, the battery is charging right now. I have to admit the ebay description is a bit harsh on it, very little rust, surface at most. But yea after I looked at it i told him id take it, but I had to wait to get a trailer to get it home, and hes like nah, just take mine, i need it back by monday tho" and im like sweet, so I hitched it up, but the only problem is, my suspension on that wagon is similar to that of Uncle Buck's so it was an interesting drive home...what with all that weight on the tounge.

The only problems so far that I can find are that the brake lights dont work, its not the bulbs tho...but ill burn that bridge when I get to it..

Congrats! Welcome to the restoration club. I've got a red 83GS that I've done a lot of work on, and now I'm trying to pass smog. Runs like a rabbit, and looks good from across he street (I'll rub it out after smog passes). I rather like the GS (I have a blue 83 GS) because they are a little lighter and sprightlier, especially with Tokico blues installed.
