nice.. pics are a bit dark.. but those look like nice enkie mesh wheels i got the same ones i love the way they look on a 7.

redline and royal purple are both good fluids.

if your doing a general overhall... get some nice ngk spark plugs and a nice set of wires not the cheepies, when you do a oil change you might want to add some marvolus mystery oil to help clean out the carbon deposits. you might want to flush the radiatior just to get it nice and clean.

welcome to the club. GL-5 for the trans and diff. everyone has their own opinions as to which brand is better. i use neo in the trans and the diff. i add a limited slip additive to the diff.

Congrats! It appears to be black, with oxidizing? Mine's got that, too - poor baby's got a sunburn.

You should read the FAQ page, it's got great info. Better pics, too, please.

Thanks for the responses. I got a nice deal on her, and she is an 82 with almost 100K on the clock.

It is currently running open header, due to the stock cats releasing themsevles from the header and catback pipes. Rust and weight lead to the release. One day the exhaust system was just fine... next day the cat was resting on the pavement.

It is a 5MT, and I am not sure of the color name, but it is a greyish color. The photos (dark i know : / ) were taken before i washed/waxed the car, so it is quite a bit nicer looking now without the dust and dirt. It appears the clearcoat, if there even was one, is coming off in some spots, so a paintjob is in order or something.

I was wondering what kind of wheels they were, good info. They are 14x6JJ with 205s all around; VERY lightweight!!! The car also came with the stock wheels, and an interesting black velvet dash cover, with an RX7 club of america patch on it.

Power seems very nice now that the cat(s) have removed themselves, and the car is very fun to drive. I am all about the low mass of the car! Its so quiet too... j/k : ) Whilst idling, you can feel your clothes move a bit from the sound pressure level!

I also wonder if you guys are running premix to increase the longevity of the engine? I know after a certain whp level, at least with FDs, the stock OMP has reached its oil feed limit, and premix should be used. Any thoughts on brands, or usage and ratios?

i talked to a couple rotary mechanics (steve hayes and donnie hayes, fwiw) about the OMP and they both seemed quite confident in it. i would be concerned with the fuel filter if i did a gas tank premix...
