We just had a huge hail storm, and so I went outside to check for hail damage on the cars, and I step out the front door and the first thing I see is my project -SE:







An obvious act of vandalism considering the shoe prints on each dent...





Now the question, call the cops and persue finding out who done it and then spend a crazy amount of $$$ getting it fixed? Or strip the body and take it to the yard and maybe someday start another resteration?

 

Less work getting the dents fixed than stripping and transferring parts. Any decent body shop can pull or push those dents. Who have you pissed off lately? I'd be looking to put the hurt on somebody for that kind of petty bs.

Well, I guess I'll start looking around at prices etc.

Just found out who it was. My supposed friend, when asked why, he said "'cause I was mad at you".

Yesterday he walked in on something, so I told him in a semi-upset, but not yelling voice, to knock next time...so he puts 2 dents in my car? Pretty messed up...

 

first off, kick his ***.

secondly, why would you scrap the car over that? thats rediculous. its not that bad. you could fix those for relatively cheap or you could pursue the project and fix visual damage on down the road.

Well, it needs an entire new interior, and a few other things. But the body was straight, so this is just another thing that would need fixing. Annnd it could be an excuse to put -SE suspension under my GS. Just trying to look at my options/the bright side of things.

 

Tomorrow I'll give him a call and ask him what he's going to do about it. Depending on what he says I'll persue those two routs.

Known the guy for 15 years now, and now he pulls something like this...

How old is this ex-friend of yours? This sounds like the work of either a 10-year-old who's had no discipline in his life or a young punk kid who also has had no discipline nor a brainstem.
