JDM 13B Turbo
JDM 13B Turbo
Hey, I have a quick noob question. I was wondering if this motor (http://www.japanmotorimport.com/JDM_...013B%20T_86-91) would fit in a 1985 GSL-SE
Any help would be great!

Kerebrus, searches time out, so giving a link to a search isn't that useful for people who pull this thread up in searches in the future.

To the original poster, the short answer is that yes you can make that engine fit, but it's not a direct drop-in. The very basics are covered many times over in this section, like the fact that you'll need a 12a or GSL-SE front cover and a GSL-SE oil pan and pickup tube just to get the engine physically into your engine bay. The wiring will be hard but thankfully, starting with a GSL-SE is easier for that swap than starting with a 12a-powered FB.
Look around, check the FAQ, the Archive and hit up the search a couple of times and see if you can come up with some more specific questions regarding the swap and we'll see what we can do to help.
