I've learned a few things over the past few days of being in Las Cruces, NM
First off being, I need to spend some money.
Last night while cruising to wal-mart at 3am I saw a Mustang messing with a brand new (temp tags and all) Scion TC, the mustang was just a stock V6, nothing special, and the scion and it were pretty even. After the Mustang pulled off I decided to see how fast they are, knowing they aren't TOO fast (150 whp and alot of weight) I pulled next to him, put it in N, reved, and he took off and I shifted in 3rd (mistake I think) and we went for about a mile, and over the entire time he only pulled about 1 car length on me. Had I shifted second instead of third I'd of probably had the jump and been about even at the end.
Oh well, street port and another Carb, here I come.
Second; the FB is scary above 140mph. On the Interstate coming here I saw a big hill, and no traffic either way, and punched it. I think with a spoiler and a tire balance it'll be more comfortable, though.
Third; my girlfriend is a keeper. She said to me last night "They need to make a perfume called 'RX-7'" ...She also says they need a back seat.
Oh, and, LC and it's 83459836936 speed bumps + RB springs = Hell.
Just thought I'd share my fun with my car over the weekend. I think this 550 miles I've driven on this trip so-far has been the best time I've ever had driving a car.

Anyway. We first gen owners all can agree that our cars need more power than what came from the factory. All I can say is good luck with getting everything you want out of your car.
