I read in one of the threads that an alternator from a mazda 626 could fit but it wasnt really confirmed, right now im running a new cd player and a sub and amp off my stock one and it cant be safe, my amps guage is about 3/4 full and it scares me... theres a 626 alt on craigslist and im thinking of getting it but im not sure on the fit.

I also want to get an electric fan with new lights but i know my alt wouldnt hold out so gotta upgrade it first.

+2 for the 2nd gen alternator...and if your still worried get a capacitor for your amp to help take the sudden loads off your battery that your amp may be causing.

I run a **** load of electrical gear, 2 high end amps, central locking, elecric windows, full alarm system, full micro tech engine management and display, tv, dvd, cd player, 10 stacker and Ipod, HID lights, and some other gear.

I'm using a 2nd gen alt, 1 Farad capacator, and a optima D34 battery...I have had no problems what so ever relating to power.

Cam...
