I was just wondering if any one has or had a rear hatch polycarbonate replacement. If so, any problems with scracthing, cracking, or any other problems.

No, that is a pointer cone. The cones usally used in autox are pretty soft, well enough that I harldy notice them.

Lexan is the street name for polycarbonate. One and the same. Lexan does scratch very easily. You can get a clear mylar coat put on your lexan to make it more scratch resistant. Search for it. Otherwise your lexan will start scratching once it's installed and you peel the protective coatings off. If you don't get the mylar be sure to spray water on the hatch and get as much dust off it before washing. And get the lexan clean, polish, and scratch removal kit from http://racerpartswholesale.com/
Plexiglass is much more durable and weighs more. Plexi is what fish tanks and bullet proof windows are made from.
Neither would be considered DOT legal and neither shatters like saftey glass. OTOH no one will be breaking thru your hatch. It'll fog up too but the Rain-X anti-fog really helps here.

Drop by your local airport and talk to the guys who rent and service aircraft. They have Plexiglas cleaning supplies that buff out scratches on aircraft windscreens that will work perfectly on either Plexi or Lexan. Just a trick from my flying days, HTH,

Good luck getting the contour right.
On side note, I wonder if you could take a piece of factory glass, set a peice of lexan on it, and heat it up somehow to make it lay with the contour of the stock piece. Maybe with really hot water or something? I dont know. Makes me wanna try it though.

Cheers
