intake manifold question

intake manifold question

you know how the intake is in 2 pieces? top and bottom.. well would a 12a top bolt onto a 13b bottom? i am laid off right now and need to finish my car and i dont have the $$ right now to buy the intake i need so any advice i would greatly apprieciate.. thanks,

your talking about the stock 12a carb right? I wouldn't run that thing on a 13b. Barely big enough as it is.

no my buddy has a custom carb spacer he made to put a holley on it.. i just need to know if the 2 intake will fit together..

I'm not aware of any stock two-piece intake manifolds for 12A.
The only stock two-piece manifolds I know of are for the 6-port 13B motors like on the GSL-SEs.
