installing new bushings, and that aint right!

SO, i put on some new front end link bushings, and i'm wondering how tight i should tighten them on there, are we talkin like hand tight, or wrench them down till they are really tight? ALSO the same exact question, but with the tension rod bushings?

(in otherwords, should poly bushings be so tight that they are smushed? or loose?)

I tightened mine till they bottomed out on the threads. Seemed to fit really nicely.
