Installed Weber Pictures

Well, here you go. For simplicities sake, I uploaded the pictures on the same web page I had going with the pictures from when I first got it. That way, I didnt have top try and upload them all to the damn forum cause its lame.

The first few are the newest Ive taken. They have the "final" throttle return spring bracket in them. The others have the "working model" I was going to use.

So, without any further adu, here is the link:

http://www.angelfire.com/space/rotor...ber/index.html

Enjoy .

Haha yeah. That and I keep forgetting to take that damn red piece of foam out of there, haha. I actually dont know if it needs to be there or not. No air seems to come in or out of there when its running. I left it in when I was installing it to try and keep it clean as much as possible. I dont know if its supposed to go there or not, but it just pisses me off and I wanna take it off, haha. Does it need to be in there?

looks bad ***!!!

Get some "Grease Litening" from the dollar store and use it man!

Just spray it on, hose it off, and it will take off a thick layer of grease, then repeat, cause it looks like you will need too ;-)

Is it any faster?

Laterz, Andrew

Well, a huge difference in 1st and 2nd gear. I can punch it and thow myself into the seat more than ever, and it doesnt bog or anything. 3rd and up seems a little more than the Nikki, but not by much. HOWEVER, Im still in the process of jetting it and getting it right, so Im sure that I need to mess around with it some more. I am also still using the stock fuel system, so its not truly getting constant fuel pressure. There are too many variables right now to truly say how much better it is. plus, its raining like hell over here, and I cant get on it too much or it just looses traction .

~T.J.

PS - The Carter pump, Holley regulator, and Holley gauge will be ordered in the next two days or so . Also, Robert is sending me some jets to play with to see if I cant sqeeze a little more out of it.

No, I got it all from Robert at rotaryshack. Yes I put the oil lines in myself, only because I forgot to ask Robert to do it. He said he could, I told him Id think about it, but then I forgot to have him do it, oh well. I just drilled two holes, tapped them to 1/8" NPT, and got two fittings from the hardware store and made it happen.

~T.J.

PS - The site is up again.

EDIT: I just made a new throttle cable bracket, so Ill take more pics and get them up later. Probably tomorrow . Its the same type of bracket the return spring bracket is made out of, only with some "custom modifications" that involved a power drill and a hammer .

Do I need to worry about that gasket? I mean, can I take that top off and not have to replace the gasket?

~90K on the chasis now (1983), and about 170K on the engine (1984).

Only if you plan to use the stock oil injection system. If youre premixing oil in your gas, then no. I personally plan to use them until I can afford to premix, then some 1/8" NPT plugs are going in there.
