I still think there's *got* to be a better way to hook the steering shaft to the rack than those two U-joints.....

but what do you think about its drivability? Any issues with the smoothness or linearity of it? I've heard some people talk about a much wider turning radius, do you find that's true?

It seems to drive fine. I have driven it a few miles from my house on Hoosier so3s and up on the highway for a bit and it was alot better than my box with 180k on it. The Turning radius has never been great Its not exactly a daily driver. As far as 2 u joints go, lots of cars use a set up like that

How long did it take to get the rack from CP once you ordered it ? Are they still slow or has the lead time come down to weeks instead of months. I ask because I've heard a lot of b****ing over the time folks have to wait to get parts.

Welcome to the R&P club. I've said before that this is the best mod I've done to my car, well worth the $. It makes the car more rewarding to drive at any speed.
