Angry Install rear bumper (FB)

84 GSL

I removed my rear bumper to straighten it. Took out the shocks, the urethane skin, cleaned everything. It's not pretty but it's all still sturdy. I just refastened the skin to the bumper and am finally ready to stick it back on but I CANNOT FIT the goddam thing! It will go on one end and slip off the other end. Is there a trick to this?!

Attach skin/cover to rebar/bumper and then reattach assembly to car using those 2 14mm (I think) bolts.

Exactly what I did.
Except the bumper won't go on far enough to attach the two bolts. I may have attached the skin on the wrong side of the metal tabs along the top, I'll try putting it on the other side and see if that works

So here's a tip: when reinstalling bumper shocks, make sure the longer of the two ends is on top.
