i have an 85 gsl...and at the wreckers i found this band goes right behind the doors says targa 7 on the side.........

looks pretty nice on the car...so i checked out a site..and found it belonged to a "imsa appearance package"...does anyone have any pics or info on this package........or what else it came with?

Okay,

First off you're getting the aftermarket 'Targa 7' bar confused with the OEM Mazda 'Targa' Bar

The Targa 7 was offered as an aftermarket accessory from a 3rd party company (Victoria Brittish possibly?). It has Targa 7 clearly written on it.

The Mazda Targa bar doesn't say anything on it and looks slightly different. It was available as an over the counter part at Mazda Delearships. It was also part of a limited IMSA Appearance Package, which included the Targa, a spoiler, and an airdam.
