I'm thinking of changin my car's color
I need some advice. Should i keep the same color that i have now?
or should i paint it exactly liek tthis? (polished trim and all, only w/ my rims and my clear lights?)
If i keep it the same color, i'm going to repaint it, or at least get it touched up, its the original paint.

I think you should spilt the difference and paint your car the deep blue color, but keep the black trim. I know I'm probably in the minority when I say this, but I think the black trim looks good on our cars. Taking it off seems to make them look just not quite right IMHO. The same goes for the door trim and the windshield surround. I'm partial to those being black as well.

I actually like your color - it's different than just about any on the road today. That blue is tempting though...
One HUGE advantage to staying with your color is that you wouldn't have to respray your door jams, engine bay, etc. Do do a color change like that it should really be stripped down to a rolling chassis (or very close to it).

I really like the colour it is now. It compliments the clear light lenses perfectly. Of course AXX13B is one of the cars that got me hooked on 1st gens... I still reckon the orginal colour would be best.
Either way it'll look good IMO.

starin at ur car makes me feel cold... hehe.. anyways, i like the deep blue color better. no matter wut we think its up to u. if u want a full paintjob, paintin the insides and the engine bay and everythin, i think it might be a waist of money cuz ur car is already damn clean. but then again, if u have the cash to spend y not?. personaly, i dont care if my car has different collors on the out side and inside cuz i dont think im goin to enter my car in a show. my current color is silver and the paint in the enginebay is ok but paint on the out side is pretty shitty. later when i have the time, im juss goin to sand down the outside and spay wutever color i want my self. later down the road, if i get sick of that color ill juss spray it wit a different one. hehe.

I read your email
Repaint it, keeping the color you have.
You car looks great from the pictures. Is there something wrong with the paint?
BTW, I vote that you keep the original color.

I really like the look of you car the way it is, except for the silver rear wiper. I like the other car also, but I like the color of yours better. I also like the black side molding.

The paint is really clean, i have a few small pressure dents on the front panel, and the bumpers are really faded on teh tops. The paint itself is near perfect, bt the front has a lot of chips out of the color layer, and it isnt a mirror reflection shine.
My vote, time to haul out the wax and "wax and shine that mother" (said in Indian accent as i make polishing motions). The front end is goign to get painted i think, bt the same color it was.
I do dearly love the color of my car, and i think that the way it is, with the rims and the clear lights, should not be changed at all!!!
As far as the windsheild wipers go, they are rally shitty, the actual rubber blade thing has falln off all of them, i'm going to get some nice 18" black ones from Schucks. I'm also getting rid of the rear wiper (for sound system clearence issues).
Thanks for all the imput guys, i have been thinking the same thing, but that damn AXX13b is just so damn sweet!! All my friends and i decided that although it is sweet, the color combo on it is fairly common among the sport compact crowd, and mine isnt (its growing more and more tho, i'm noticing).
But yeah, instead of dunking 1500 into a paint job, i'll get the haltech e6k instead, with a nice steering wheel and some seats, and a TII block, and an FMIC, and a nice turbo, and and and....

Anytime baby!
Keep the color...look at me I've learned to love Brown. How often do you see brown cars on the road. Not often. How often do you see FBs on the road...not often. Just makes it more unique.
Right on.
Right on.

Keep the color - it's one of the best ever. And keep the black trim - with those nice wheels the car will be superb, and the appearance will wear well, you'll still like it years from now, whereas a trick color doesn't wear as well.
