I'm Still Alive
Hey guys,
I haven't posted here in a while and I thought the few of you that know me might be wondering what happened to me. Well, I'm in college . I'm at Penn State studying mechanical engineering. It's about 6 weeks into the semester now and I've been pretty busy with homework. My classes arent too interesting right now because I don't have any actual engineering classes until next semester. Psychology is pretty cool though, and sometimes I get to burn stuff in Chem lol. I'm in the SAE club, we are building the supermileage car. I was really set on working on the formula cars rather than a car that goes 15mph, but it's better than nothing.
The 7 is at home sitting in my garage waiting to get finished. I ran out of money before I got very far, but I have 2 Jettas that I'm selling and I got a job here, so by June I should have enough money to go nuts and finish it a month. It's gonna be the greatest feeling to drive it for the first time in almost 2 years.
Ive also been occupied with my silk screening hobby. I'm bringing my stuff up from home this weekend so I can start making some shirts. I've been working on a website, check it out let me know what you think: www.bcshirts.iwarp.com . The pictures on the shirts page are just acting as placeholders until I get pictures of the actual shirts.
I'm gonna try and post occasionally. Happy Rotoring!

Screw the Supermileage car, FSAE is the ONLY way to go... trust me. I've been on the team 2 years now at McGill University. I know that Penn State has a great FSAE program, so try to get into it.
Once you get past those initial fluff classes, learning gets harder, yet more enjoyable because you'll be able to apply it to any project, even your own 7. A number of us have started to design exhaust systems and other performance parts for everyday cars, which will hopefully lead to building a fully street-legal car.
Don't give up... it opens up a whole new world of opportunities.

I'm a third year ME student also. Really concentrate on your sophomor year or it will bite you in the ***. Like others have said, concentrate on school, the 7 will always be there when you need it to be. Good luck.
