I don't know if anyone remembers, i really don't post much, but around the end of october i posted here about buying a 12a for $180. Bottom line is, i still haven't recieved it. Heres how the story goes: i've been in constant contact with the guy selling the engine for the past (almost) two months. I paid for the engine on november 12th. i asked him to post the engine on ebay so there was some sort of record of what i bought, when and how much i paid for it. the guy got a really good deal on shipping through his place of work, which does body kits and suspension lifts and the like. after i hadn't heard from him in about 2 weeks i got worried and called him. he said he was going out of town to visit his family and would try to get the engine shipped before that. still nothing after a few more weeks. finally before christmas i called him and he said because of company policy, he couldn't ship until after the new year. because of this, he said he would throw in another part from his 3 parts cars for free and pay for the shipping himself. so, after a long wait, i'm ending up with another 12a and a nikki carb for $180! now i've been ripped off on ebay and through internet transactions (because i'm a dumbass) before, and i really applaud this guy for working with me on this and offering to make up for the long wait time with more parts for free. i've been in contact with this guy for a while now, so i'm not really worried. just wanted to print my saga, tell me what you think!


on a side note, i met another member of the forum, i can't remember his sn but his first name is greg. he's got a great looking '85 gsl. i got so excited to see another 7 in the area that i ran outta my store (workin in radio shack) and started talking to him. i think i scared him
