Cool I'm now rotary powered!

I just got home with my new (to me at least) 1983 Rx-7

This is my first 7 and my first rotary powered car. The car is in really good shape considering the age and the engine is very strong (I noticed some intermitten hesitation problems around 6000 rpm though).

Bought it from a really nice fellow in Charlotte (whom I found on here) who had it for five years. He bought it from the original owner. The cool thing he still had almost all the documentation, manual, and hell even the window sticker

No pictures yet as I just got it home and its dark here. I'll clean it up this weekend and take a bunch of pictures of it. I might not be able to hold out that long though.

Anyways, just wanted to share my joy with the forum and sorta introduce myself. Sorry if this post seems kinda disjointed, I'm just so thrilled that I've finally got a 7. I was grinning for most of the 2hr+ trip home with it, lol, not sure if I'll be able to sleep tonight :p

Thanks for reading and I hope I'll be able to contribute something to the board soon!

Zach

Oh man, I couldn't sleep for about a week when I got mine
Well, ok, I wasn't quite that bad... but every time I walked by the window I peeked outside, hehe. I still do, come to think of it =)

Welcome on board!

Welcome to the Dark Side! This is a great forum. I would have been lost so many times without everyones kind help. I've had my RX (Miss Sookie) for 4 years now and still get goosebumps looking at her.
