Welcome to the forum. Dont pay CDrad any mind. Hes the resident smartass and cant help himself. (Be nicer to the newbies Carlos) There is a section for this though. So you wont see too many piston powered 7 owners in this section. Theres a guy on here with a ford 302 whos still posts here.

Just the TOTAL **** WHO POST HERE.... J/K welcome. Not to change your mind or force any opions but please don't change something that is unique or sexy. In short puting a v8 in a 7 is like pulling down Cindy Crawfords pantys to find out she has herpies!

I too once pondered the V-8 conversion, but the more I looked into it the more I realized that if I wanted v-8 power I would just buy a 5.0 mustang. It kinda ruins the unique qualities of the 7, and I wouldnt be putting my 2 cents in here but its kinda a wast of time. It costs a substantial amount of money to get one into the 7 plus the cost of the motor for 285 HP stock plus 125 extra pounds, and the 50/50 weight ratio gets wasted. By the time you sink all the time, money, and effort into it you could have slapped in a 13B with a crazy killer Turbo or Super charger, and got the same HP without the added weight. IF you want to fabricate like a mad man, and want some serious HP grab a 20B and jackit in there.....OUCH! Either way welcome to the forums, and I wish you much success with any path you chose.
