im leaking coolant, oil, where from, what is this thing, HELP!!

ok here are some pics, i already know i leak oil(rear main seal:not sure where that is) but now i leak more and today i found a puddle of antifreeze, it drips pretty steadily...look at these pics, what is the thing covered in sludge? The drips are not from any main radiator hoses i can see..... the drips of coolant land on the ground about just under the oil pan drain plug....... im putting the pics up in a sec

That's your OMP (Oil Metering Pump), but it would appear that someone has linked the two outlets to each other to bypass their function - do you have a Dellorto or Holley carb and pre-mix?

This could be where your oil is leaking from (or from the oil pan gasket seal), but more than likely, your coolant is leaking from the front of the engine at the 'weep hole' on the bottom of the Water Pump bearing. Check this by running your hand along the bottom of the water pump extension and see if green/wet coolant is on your hand. Then, take the fan and push in toward the engine and pull out toward the radiator - if you feel a lot of play here, that may due to the bearing going out, which will allow coolant to leak from the weep hole.

Take a look at these and hope that it's not an engine sealing rubber that has gone out on one of the housings. HTH,

BTW, did you know that you can 'Edit' your original post to add pictures, or are you just adding to your post count???

ok my fan does not move at all and neither does the big pulley attatched to it, i tried really hard too. it feels like there is oil leaking(fairly slowly) from the metal connecting pipe that is shooting up from the rubber lower radiator hose up into the bottom of a pulley unit(the waterpump right?) i cant see any coolant leaking anywhere anymore but it was leaking fairly quickly during a cold start at work.... should a clean sample of my oil leaking from where the oil pan is connected and off the dipstick smell kinda like gas?? someone help
