I've bought quite a bit of stuff online sight-unseen. Haven't had a problem so far, knock on wood.
I've even bought a couple of pretty expensive rifles and paid in advance with money orders. Seems like the gun guys are pretty honest for the most part. I suppose the fact that they are dealing with people who shoot has something to do with it. My worst buying experience was with someone on this forum. I finally did get the LE wheels I paid for, but it took about 3 months for the kid to ship them after I paid by paypal. Now I try to only deal with responsible ADULTS, which excludes about half the people on this forum. It's good that this is a fairly tight-knit community, though.

I buy a ton of stuff on ebay,

movies, car parts, swords, software.

never really had a problem

I bought a set of doors from a member of the board. It took forever but I got them, He was a kid also. Like 17 or something. I am 18 and I have sold only one thing, a set of wheel caps for like $15 total and I made sure I sent them out THE DAY i got the money.

I am going to be selling some of the stuff off my new engine(J-spec intercooler, turbo, air/AC/PS pumps, pan and front cover - if anyone is interested in this stuff let me know)

and I dont plan on screwing anyone, im not that kind of person.
