I'm getting fed up. Need help. Again.

My car is leaking oil onto something down low, and it's coming from under the engine (not the engine itself) from front that casing of sorts (the one with the empty hole in it stick out of it). I think oil is hitting my exhaust manifold, because it won't start smoking until it gets hot, and hot is after about.....15 minutes. If I run longer, I get a fire. Again.

This is bullshit.

My engine is running fine, I've got great power, everything is kosher. Except for that goddamn oil leak. I've searched, and maybe I just don't know how to search, but I've found nothing relevant to my problem. I'm asking you rotary guru's to help me out, one more time, so I can drive my car where I need to.

Power washing the bottom right part of my hood area is getting old. And expensive.

Thanks.

I like the Kosher comment especially with passover starting! As for your oil, theres not much to leak on the manafold side. Does it smoke while just sitting there or only when you drive?
Oh, the first paragraph was so hard to read my brain almost froze.

I apologize for that. lol. I was half asleep when I wrote that, and I just checked out my grammar, and it's absolutely horrible. My apologies. I haven't let my car sit for that long of a time just idling, but if I drive it around for 10-15 minutes, it starts smoking pretty good. It's definately oil, because I can see it trickling down, I just don't know from what. It blows my mind, man. If you're standing in front of the car, it's going to be down, and to your left (if you're looking at the engine straight-on). I appreciate you trying to help me. If you have any suggestions, let me know. This is killing me not being able to drive where I need to every day.

mine did the same, I tightened everything I could get a wrench on and then added an engine oil seal to the oil . the label said to give it a couple hundred miles to stop leaking, so far so good.also I took it to the car wash and really really wassshed the engine and pan and all the oil underside. Hows that for a brain freezer? hehehe

I say degrease the motor with Castrol Degreaser and then you can see where its coming from.

Where is my OMP? I don't even know what it looks like, or where it's at. I've looked for that thing so hard. Also, I've degreased the hell out of my engine, and it's always so dark where the oil is coming from, so I can't see where the leak is at. I need to get it on a lift, but resources are limited. If someone could tell me where my OMP is, I could atleast get started there. Thank you so much, guys.

follow the two clear plastic lines from the carb to the area you described, when looking at the front of the car, the lower left hand corner of the car. You can get a gasket from mazda trix, and if you search for omp rebuild you can find a kit to rebuild the whole thing(if this is your problem. Also the lines themselves could be leaking. Iknow my lines leak, but so little that it barely wets the top of my carbs (yes I have two 2bbl carbs). I just wipe it off every few days.

The first thng I thought of when you described the problem was the omp, or lines. I'd say that is the most likely problem. If it's not that then it would have to be the front seal, or the front cover gasket.
