I'm back!! With questions and pics. LOL

Been gone for a while, and today I ended up installing the 2nd gen alternator Very happy with it. It looks good in my bay. Thanks to those who helped me with the wiring and research:

I also installed my Racing beat filter block. I have a lot going on there huh? I didn't have anything to use for the 3/8 port so I just installed a pressure gauge. Also got a new oil fill cap from them. It's really well made for the money:

While i'm here, I was looking to get the iscracing radiator. Do you guys know if it comes with the sides like it shows on their site? I think it would look good on my car and keep things cooler. The thing i'm worried about is clearance since right now my pulley is just millimeters from my e fan. This radiator is obviously thicker.

Wondering if I could install the e fan on the other side of the radiator like on bmw's. Or would I have to get another kind of fan? I'm using the Taurus fan now.

Here's a couple of pics for your viewing pleasure while you think of an answer:
Thanks guys!

love your car, everything looks great!

I have my fan (one from the vb catalouge) mounted in front of the radiator because I was concerned with the same thing you are. The engine didn't get any hotter than it normally did, so I'm assuming there's no problem there.

you won't have a problem installing a pull fan on the front of the radiator. it sholdn't hurt any. as far as the isc radiator, if your engine temps are fine now, i wouldn't worry about the isc radiator. if your e'fan is close now and you install a 3 core or thicker radiator, you may be really pushing your luck.

the new filter block looks great! i didnt know that atkins rotary made oil filerts! any advantage to using them? perhaps a sturdier anti-drain back valve or someting?

Thanks for your input, that's good to know. Yeah the temps are fine now because the cooling system is all new, but my s/c gets things really hot in there. I do have a heat shield around the header to try and keep things cool and a water methanol kit installed to fight the heat issues, but i'm always concerned about overheating.
The last time I drove it, my e-fan fuse blew because of a short and I saw my temp gauge needle rising quick and I have my water methanol to kick on on higher boost. It did not overheat, but that's one of the things that scare me.

I bought a bunch of those filters when I went to Washington to visit them. They have the specs on them on their site. I like um.

Thanks guys for your kind words about my car. Keep in mind last year I didn't even know how a rotary engine worked. LOL

the more i see those rx-8 seat the more i feel like i want to get some ... i like where you place the fire extinguisher i might have to steal that one, it would be pretty convenient there. Also I think you're lacking some pictures of your self and you have to be in the car while taking it so that you don't wear a bra

Yea, it sux to have your car off the road during the few good months of driving weather here in the great midwest, isn't it? I did the same thing...I bet I haven't put 100 miles on it since Memorial Day because I've been working on the suspension swap and wheel/tire issues. Your car is looking great though...that will be one nice ride when you're done.

By the way, what pulley are you running? I have a #11 (not enough boost) on it now, and I have a #7 (too much boost), so I need to get a #9 and see what that does...I think they are about $125 each though.
