I'm Back! Just picked up an SE
Well after a couple of years with no 7 i just picked up a 1985 GSL-SE Red on Grey. Car is mint and no rust, yes no rust. I pulled the bins and she was completley clean, I could not believe my eyes.
All orginal with only 64,000 km's owned by a family since new and rust checked every year up to 2001. Obviously never seen a winter.
I'm going to get the car on Saturday, I will post more info and pics as I clean her up.

I saw that in the AutoTrader. I thought I paid a hefty price for mine @ $5200 with 88,000 km, but this one was VERY expensive, it does look good though!

Ya it was not cheap, but to find an se, with absolutley no rust and only 64k, and all original to boot is like a needle in a rather large haystack. I paid $6,500 cert and etested (although it does not need the etest).
I looked into the vehcile history and the milage checks out. It had 52k in 1999 when the current owner took it from his father in law who owned it since new.
I'm still kind of in shock. Can't wait to bring her out to a meet in the GTA.
For me this car is priceless, when I die they will have to pry my cold dead hands from the steering wheel.

Found in the autotrader. Nothing wrong with it except for the usual oil pan sweat, and a couple of small marks in the paint. Mint, Mint, Mint.
P.S. I did not sleep a wink last night.
