I'm Back.

Hey guys,

After being on hiatus and driving my grocery-getter (96 2 dood Neon with a 2.0 liter) for the better part of three years, I'm getting back to my first love, my rx7. I suppose I'm luck that no one wanted to buy it when it was in the garage... Anyway, I got a great steal last night. I managed to get a racingbeat carb, intake manifold and air cleaner assembly for $400. I picked up the other parts I need relatively cheaply too. Woot! So, I'll be trying to get her running nicely, then maybe take her to the body shop for a couple of touch ups. By goal is to have her ready for the Motm in August. I just wanted to share my excitement...lol

Which short throw shifter you using?

Sounds exciting. I know the feeling of coming back to these cars.

Custom... my friend at the body shop did it for me. He made it out of a spare stock shifter... Works well, and looks nice... I may change the **** though, since its a 5 speed tranny...

Welcome back, My ride was sitting idle 2yrs before I got it.
